  • What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a chemical in the Cannabis sativa plant, also known as cannabis or hemp. One specific form of CBD is approved as a drug in the U.S. for seizures. Over 80 chemicals, known as cannabinoids, have been found in the Cannabis sativa plant. Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the most famous ingredient in cannabis. But CBD is obtained from hemp, a form of the Cannabis sativa plant that only contains small amounts of THC. CBD seems to have effects on some chemicals in the brain, but these are different than the effects of THC. A prescription form of CBD is used for seizure disorder (epilepsy). CBD is also used for anxiety, pain, a muscle disorder called dystonia, Parkinson disease, Crohn disease, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses. Laws passed in 2018 made it legal to sell hemp and hemp products in the US. But that doesn't mean that all CBD products made from hemp are legal. Since CBD is an approved prescription drug, it can't be legally included in foods or dietary supplements. CBD can only be included in "cosmetic" products. But there are still CBD products on the market that are labeled as dietary supplements. The amount of CBD contained in these products is not always the same as what is stated on the label.
  • What is Delta-8-THC?
Delta-8-THC is another cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. Unlike other cannabinoids such as CBD, CBG, or CBN, for example, Delta-8-THC has psychoactive effects. These psychoactive effects are similar to those of Delta-9-THC, which is what is found in higher concentrations in marijuana. Some consumers think of Delta-8-THC as marijuana’s “little brother”.
  • What is Live Resin?
Live resin is a cannabis concentrate that is known for being potent, fresh, top quality and full of flavor. It is produced by flash freezing the fresh flowers of the cannabis plant, then extracting the compounds by using pressure instead of heat. This process ensures more of the organic compounds, including terpenes, remain intact. Terpenes are what create flavors and aromas in many plants, including cannabis. So, preserving these compounds makes for the best flavor experience.
  • What is THC-O?
THC-O is a synthetic cannabinoid derived from hemp. Similar to other cannabinoids, it interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system to produce a psychotropic effect. THC-O interacts with the nervous system similarly to other cannabinoids like Delta-8-THC, Delta-9-THC, Delta-10-THC, Delta 6a10a THC, and HHC, to produce feelings of euphoria. Consumers report that THC-O is significantly more potent than Delta-9-THC, making it more psychoactive than many of the products available in the medical and recreational marijuana markets. THC-O is also known for its antiemetic (anti-nausea), anxiolytic (anti-anxiety), orexigenic (appetite stimulating) and stress-reducing properties.
